Missing enlistment for Kepler Project

At some point it was working, but the Kepler trunk seems to have stopped updating a few months ago:

Thanks for taking a look!

Hi Shaun,

It looks like we had trouble connecting for a while. Everything seems OK now, so I've rescheduled the updates. I'll keep an eye on it.

Thanks,
Robin

Hi Robin,

Generally how long is the 'waiting in queue' stage? I've tried checking out the repo from a few remote machines successfully, but wasn't sure how long it'd take to get picked up by Ohloh.

Thanks!

Hi Shaun,

It seems that we are getting repeated failures when trying to export the source code from this server.

After each failure, our system puts the download job back in the queue for a progressively longer wait. In our log, I can see almost a dozen failures over the past week. At this error rate, the download ends up spending much more time waiting than working.

It also doesn't help that this code tree includes many large jar files, which means that it takes about half an hour to export the code for a single revision. Normally our system just quickly pulls the delta from one revision to the next, but if there is a failure along the way our system may need to do a clean checkout, which takes a long time on this project.

I'm continuing to watch this download, but we still have nearly 3700 revisions left to analyze, and at these failure rates it might be a couple of weeks before we finish.

Thanks,
Robin

Hi Robin,

Thanks for the investigative work. I'll take a look at our end and see what's causing the errors.

I'd forgotten about the binaries and the fact they'd have to be transmitted from each rev, waiting a few weeks is fine.

Cheers, Shaun
