Duplicate account bug

Hi,

I've registered 3 projects on ohloh, 2 projects recognize my own account for each commits, but it seems to have a bug on this project :
https://www.ohloh.net/p/pdomap/commits

Could you help me please :)

Thanks a lot

Hi akhenathon,

I've patched up the problem so that your account displays properly on this project. Let me know if you have any more trouble.

Thanks,

Robin

Same happened to me. The contribution on OpenOBEX is split from my member account now (look up my real name e.g.). I think the alias got lost when the permissions on the project where changed.

Hi Christian,

Your Ohloh account is still associated with the name zany from the old Subversion enlistment. To be properly associated with the new Git enlistment, you need to change your account settings.

On your account profile page, click the EDIT link next to the OpenOBEX listing. This will take you to a form where you can enter your Committer Name. Change this from zany to the new name you use in the Git repository. There should be an autocompleter to help you.

After you make this fix, it will probably take a while for Ohloh to recalculate all of the statistics and update the report.

I admit this is not easy to discover. Let me know if it doesn't work out,

Robin
