Are the figures from the projects search page reliable?

As of October 2008 Ohloh listed less than 20K projects, it looks like a big (unlikely?) increase in a few months to me.
Yes, it's true, the number of projects on Ohloh is growing rapidly. We've started spidering the web for projects in an attempt to reach comprehensive coverage.
We haven't downloaded and analyzed the source code for all of these new projects yet, however. We'll be filling in the source code analyses as server time permits.
I see, it might be useful to have separate stats on the number of projects actually tracked (at least for promoting Ohloh on Wikipedia :). Also, the code metrics
link is displayed in any case, whether an enlistment is configured or not, maybe you could disable it if no code analysis is available.
Hmm, yes, the count of analyzed projects isn't currently accessible. We'll have to think about where to put that.
