Hi,
thanks for this great site.
It would be nice if the date/time of the last update was shown on projects main page, so that we instantly know how up to date the infos are.
Regards,
Alex
Hi Alex,
I think the data you are looking for is available, it's just in a very tiny, faint font that makes it hard to find.
You can find it in two places. First, on the main project page, the date is at the bottom of the Ohloh Analysis Summary
box. Also, when you are looking at the Code Analysis
page from the left navigation, the date is at the upper right corner of the page.
This is probably not easy to find, and maybe we should change it. Like you said, putting it somewhere prominent at the top of the project page might be helpful.
This timestamp reflects the last time that Ohloh scanned the source control repository. If the project has more than one repository, then this timestamp is the oldest (most pessimistic) of all of the repository timestamps.
If this isn't really what you were looking for, let me know.
Thanks,
Robin
Hi Robin,
Ok i see it now :) I guess it's not really a font size/color issue, if it can help, i'll explain!
Maybe it's not the common use of the site, but i rarely check for the code analysis page or analysis summary.
I know i did look at this info at the begining but maybe just once or twice.
Maybe that's because i'm a developer of that particular project and this info is not something that changes rapidly, thus needing frequent checks.
So i still stand for my suggestion to make it more prominant on the main/summary :) Not a big deal, off course!
Thanks for your quick reply,
Alex
