Lost Kudos points whilst aliasing.

Hi,
How do I get back my Kudos points I seem to have lost after I performed some aliasing?

Pretty much all my projects are on GoogleCode and I use the following aliases:
JeanLou.Dupont
Jeanlou.Dupont
jeanlou.dupont
jeanlou.Dupont

Please help,
Jean-Lou Dupont.

Hi Jean-Lou,

Sorry for the confusion. Kudo scores are calculated once a day. Changes to claims and aliases can result in temporary drops in kudo scores until the next calculation.

I'll check your kudo score tomorrow and investigate further if it's not fixed.

Hi Andy,

This happened several days ago so I believe some further investigation would be appropriate.

Many thanks for your time,

Jean-Lou Dupont

FYI: I have crafted 2 Yahoo! Pipes for Ohloh:

1) Project Summary in RSS: link

2) User Summary in RSS:
link

Hi Jean-Lou,

I have slightly bad news for you. Performing the aliases was supposed to remove the kudo points.

The contributors on projects jldupont and MediaWiki Extensions were receiving kudos from you prior to the aliases because you'd stacked those projects. When you claimed the contributors by aliasing, the system no longer gave them kudo points from the stack because you can't kudo yourself.

The way to fix this is to get one of your users to stack your projects and/or give you a kudo.

Sorry about the confusion,
Andy

PS Nice pipes! I'd stack them if they were a project.

Thanks Andy for getting back to me; it all makes sense now.

Cheers,
Jean-Lou.
