How come Ohloh is only optimized for FireFox? I've been trying to use the more important functions of this site with Opera and IE 7, and they simply won't work.
For Opera, this is understandable, seeing as it won't have proper JavaScript support until the 9.5 line, but surely IE 7 should be possible to support already now?
I sincerely hope proper support will be provided for all major browsers in the future.

We test against the latest FireFox and Safari. We try to keep IE alive but I admit we don't run the complete test suite every time we make a change. If IE7 has stopped working, that's news to me, and thanks for reporting it. I'll investigate.
Happy to inform, but what about Opera? Surely you would want to support Opera as well once the 9.5 with greatly enhanced JS support is released?
I've deployed a fix for the IE7 troubles.
We have nothing against Opera, and we'd love to support every browser, but we have to be practical about how we spend our time. The vast majority of our users are on Firefox -- even IE6 and IE7 combined place a distant second among the Ohloh crowd.
Once our site is working on Firefox, IE6, IE7, and Safari, I'd hope that Opera would be able to come along for the ride. If there's a simple fix we can make, by all means let us know, but we simply don't have the development resources to keep with every browser.
