Hi everybody !
It seems to be nothing but this project has failed :
http://www.ohloh.net/projects/3895/enlistments
I really love this project ! Could you repare it's update ?
thnxs !!
.Gilles
Another project linked to the first one : SPIP-ZONE, also failed :
http://www.ohloh.net/projects/12526/enlistments
It's on the same server which is pretty slow. Maybe this explains by both projects failed at the first step.
Hi Gilles,
There appears to be some issues with this server, which is making it pretty difficult for us to download the history.
It's not just slow, but it also disconnects us after downloading about 25 revisions or so. Since there are over 11,000 more revisions to download, I'm pessimistic that we will ever finish downloading these projects.
I manage the svn server of these projects, but I didn't know about this limit.
I will check into the configuration file, but if you have any idea that should help me, you are welcome !
ok, I've added this line in svnserve.conf :
http-timeout = 3600
Hope it will work ;)
[edit] : I've just restarted svnserve
I don't know svn server settings, so I couldn't tell you if that's the right setting.
But I did reschedule the downloads for these projects. We'll find out soon if there was an improvement.
Thanks
Hi again Gilles,
We're running into problems now connecting to your svn server. The problem comes from running
svn info -r HEAD --no-auth-cache 'svn://trac.rezo.net/spip-zone@HEAD'
which results in:
svn: Can't read from connection: Connection reset by peer
This also happens when I run the command on my local machine.
oops' it works on my local machine :/
This is certainly a pb of timeout that won't be solved on this server : it is old and the version of svn too (1.2).
And the network connection between you (in the USA ?) and this server (in France) is certainly too slow.
I will install read-only mirrors (if possible in USA ;) with svnsync or svnkit, and try again with them.
Thanks for your support
