Given the example in https://www.openhub.net/p/RapidClipse/security there are multiple versions while the newest one is missing.
I just wonder how the versions are recognized.
Hi Simon;
We can look into this. Our KB team gets data from a number of sources, and those data include the versions.
Really though, since RapidClipse has no vulnerabilities reported against it, the Security page should be blank, so something isn't aligning as expected. We'll look into it.
Could be that data for vulnerabilities and versions are coming from NVD and other sources and they don't have all the versions. But the curious thing is, if there are not vulnerabilities reported, why is there any version data at all?
As I said; something isn't aligning as expected and we're looking into it.
Whatever the result of something isn't aligning as expected and we're looking into it
is...
The new version from December 2016 3.0.0
is added now, I'm still wondering where it actually comes from.
