Hi all, I am the architect and maintainer of motmot.sourceforge.net and wanted to add this to my new Ohloh account today. After some failed attempts on the Experience>New Project page, I discovered my Sourceforge username was not recognized as the motmot
project identifier was already taken by another project...
Can this be fixed such that I can check out some nice stats? ;-)
Thanks a lot in advance and best regards,

Hi Pieter,
Ohloh requires projects to have unique names, but we're hoping everyone will play nice and compromise on duplicate names.
I think the best solution here is that both projects will need to add a little extra to their Ohloh project titles to differentiate them -- along the lines of Motmot Camera Utilities
and MoTMoT Model Transformer
or something like that.
Feel free to make the changes to the projects.
Robin
Hi Robin, I don't have any obligations to using MoTMoT Model Transformer
or so as an ID over here but will the Ohloh system be able to crawl the CVS data from sourceforge? I didn't find a SF URL or CVS URI field in the new project
form.
I'll try it right now... perhaps there's another form after I've registered the project??? Curious...
CU,
Pieter
Ahhh... my mistake was to go to the experience
tab of my account
directly. I assumed that Ohloh already had all the Sourceforge, Freshmeat, ... projects pre-loaded. Today, I discovered the Add new project
tab in the search projects
section and solved the issue.
Thanks for watching over my shoulder :-)
Cheers,
Pieter
