Hi nirvann,

Finding the source code is not always easy, and every project stores their code differently. The best plan is always to read the project documentation and look around for developer instructions. I've done this more times than I can count, and I must admit it is sometimes extremely difficult to figure out where the source code is hiding.

However, there are a few ways Ohloh might be able to help you.

First, many projects have a Download link at the top of the main Ohloh project page. This link should take you to a page outside of Ohloh with instructions for download. Unfortunately, it's up to every individual project to decide where this link will take you, so it may not always be what you are looking for. It doesn't always lead to source code.

Secondly, and more importantly, there's the enlistments page. Every project on Ohloh has this page. For instance, www.ohloh.net/projects/1/enlistments.

The enlistments page shows you the actual current location of the source code being tracked by Ohloh. If you have the correct source control tools installed (CVS, Subversion, or Git), then you can retrieve the source code from these locations. However, it's probably still wise to read the project documentation before you do this to make sure you understand what you'll be getting. Every project is a little different.
