Dear Open Hub Users,
We’re excited to announce that we will be moving the Open Hub Forum to
https://community.blackduck.com/s/black-duck-open-hub.
Beginning immediately, users can head over,
register,
get technical help and discuss issue pertinent to the Open Hub. Registered users can also subscribe to Open Hub announcements here.
On May 1, 2020, we will be freezing https://www.openhub.net/forums and users will not be able to create new discussions. If you have any questions and concerns, please email us at
[email protected]
I've posted this issue already and it was magically resolved by someone who said that it was some commits blocking my profile from synchronization...
May you fix it again and tell me in nutshell how not to break it?
Thank you

Okay...
Hi Cynede;
Sorry you've gone so long without an answer. We're a small team dealing with all the issues of managing a significant website on an aging infrastructure.
You've claimed contributions on 114 projects on the Open Hub (thanks for your contributions to OSS!)
If you go to your Contributions page and start paging through, you will see those projects that have Activity Not Available
(the icon with the question mark). Those projects with outdated analysis (over a month old) are the most likely reasons why your profile can't be updated.
Here is one example: Eternal.h. The repository doesn't exist any more
I see, it's dropped project, how can I remove it?
You can delete the project by going to the Edit history via the Settings page, and Undoing the creation of the project. This soft-deletes the project and unwinds any contributions claimed. That should trigger a new Account analysis for anyone who held a position in that project.
I wish I can sort projects by Activity Not Available
or alike to remove them (or source from them) or correct...
I found a few projects with pending analysis that seemed to be stuck. I've started new analyses to get them unstuck.
Good point. I'll add a ticket to explore sorting projects in Contributions page
some projects alike this https://www.openhub.net/p/iSynthia is just not supported at the moment (Idris code) but I used to have C (generated code) there... not sure what should I do with them?
Seems like everything is fixed now, thank you
still same :) seems like it'll never be fixed
Despair not! A deadlock had blocked your update, but all is well!
Wow, thanks! :)
