this website needs to show a timeline of release dates, and needs to guess a next date for a release.
I fear that Ohloh itself does not know when a specific release of a project happens, even though that could be interesting information. Anyhow, it seems hard to find out when a release happens because of widely spread different systems over all projects.
We've had a feature idea to show project versions on a timeline. As hangy points out - I don't think we could automate a system to deduce past or future releasese, but we could simply make it a manual process - thereby project owners and contributors could let people know when they plan on releasing (or when they have released in the past).
Unfortunately we're pretty booked up on new features right now so this won't come around for a while.
