edit New enlistment - gateway timeout

I have been trying to add a new enlistment for a web design project i have and i am hosting it off of a home based server which i have set-up with apache and svn but it shows Checking server connection... for what seems like forever and then gives me a server time out. if someone can let me know what i may be doing wrong since this is my first time trying to do this, i would appreciate it.

im sorry i made a mistake. It said 504 gateway timeout

Hi AA1,

Could you please post the svn connection string that's timing out? It would help me narrow this down.

I'm unable to ping this server. Perhaps you're behind a firewall?

To test that it's accessible, run svn log http://68.219.42.72/svn/hendrixinvestigations/ , preferably from a computer other than the one from which you're hosting.

An alternative might be to use google code or sourceforge for your project.
