new projects
i propose to create statistics of new projects in last year... now i see only total count of projects in some language for example:
there could be total 10000 projects in PHP but only 1000 new projects in year 2007...
and could be 5000 total projects in RUBY and 2000 new projects in year 2007....
in category total projects PHP can wins... but in category new projects in year 2007 RUBY wins.... or any other language ;)

rationew projects in last year
/total projects
(or new/total * 100%) .
i think this category can help to determine languages change...
