Propel
Notes:
Great ORM framework for Propel. It's a DataMapper pattern, which is the pattern I prefer. Very customizable, good execution speed and debug options. Great community. Sadly lacks migrations support and behaviors like versionable or archive-delete. |

Prototype Javascript Framework
Notes:
Great interface, great docs, quite stable, good community. Only thing that bothers me about it at all is how it munges the root Javascript object. Phocoa uses prototype for the core javascript infrastructure. |

YUI
Notes:
The most-documented, most-exampled (is that a word?) javascript UI framework I've found. Supported by YAHOO, great community. The core of phocoa's AJAX widgets are all built on YUI. |

PEAR
Notes:
Phocoa uses several PEAR packages to handle logging and other infrastructure. |

Appcelerator Titanium Mobile
Notes:
I always say Appcelerator is the javascript version of Flex. It's pretty close. I know the founders and they're excellent architects, and the project improves more and more. Phocoa ships with Appcelerator and is fully integrated as an OOTB SOA backend. |
It's a list of software used to accomplish something. LAMP is an example.
