Effective tool, responsive maintainer

I recently converted over 40 of my ancient projects from RCS to git, some dating back to 1990. The tool was fast, effective, and operated with minimal setup and fuss.
In the process, I suggested one minor improvement to the tool (an improvement to the logic for coalescing commits) which the author was quite responsive about making.
I rate both the code and the maintainer excellent.
