Planned date is for next week, Wednesday, December 07, 2011. There is a general code freeze in effect now as we are testing the SDK candidates intensively. There will be [...]

Release Rampdown
We're heading towards another joint release of a development and patch version of qooxdoo, 1.6 and 1.5.1 respectively. The planned date is Wednesday, December 07, 2011. We will observe a general code freeze starting from December 02 up until the releases are finalized, to stabilize the code base. If you are working with a [...]

Another great week for your most favorite framework, so here comes a brief summary:
Github
We've made the switch to Git and Github this week. Although we need to accustom ourselves and will come across a few itches, all in all it looks like a smooth transition. Feedback was generally positive, and we're starting to enjoy commit [...]

We have successfully moved the master repository for qooxdoo to Github. The web URL for the repository is
https://github.com/qooxdoo/qooxdoo
This does not affect the qooxdoo-contrib repository which remains on Sourceforge for the time being.

This app started as an experiment of mine some days ago where I wanted to get an offline-ready app up and running in under an hour using the qooxdoo framework and all its low level features. Doing that, I ended up with some styling I could not be proud of but I basically had a [...]
