I don't care too much about expiration of password when I shutdown the server, BUT, it usually "forgets" the password every some hours, with the server running and all. That is extremely annoying as I want to access this wonderful app without ... [More] interruptions! It would be nice if I could never have to enter a password if I decide so, and setup a password protection in the preferences. [Less]

Unrelated to the present article, I have a question. I'm constantly installing and reinstalling Operating Systems, and I do not want my piggydb notes to be in danger, and I need piggydb to be really portable. I was thinking in installing one of these ... [More] solutions as a virtual machine in VirtualBox, but which one of the two?: 1) http://www.turnkeylinux.org/tomcat 2) http://www.turnkeylinux.org/tomcat-apache Then I could consider piggydb portable, since I can export the entire virtual machine with all my notes and configurations, or am I wrong? Thanks Daisuke, Sorry that I still can't get it The location of the database files or the database name can be changed via the Piggydb settings "piggydb.database.prefix" and "piggydb.database.name", respectively. Where are they and how can I access and change them?

This is the third installment of Let’s Play Knowledge Creation with Piggydb. This time I found an application that makes it amazingly easy to collect passages from a book. It is Amazon Kindle, and its Web service ‘Your Highlights’ has freed me from the tiresome work of manually typing underlined passages in paper books. With […]

I have added some changes to Document View to improve its accessibility (especially for Smartphones). First, from this version, you can access the pages in Document View using a short-form URL like: /d/, /d/ Secondly, a Document View button has been added to the global header, which allows you to open the home fragment in […]
