Version 0.3 of pepper is now available. This release features an improved report API, a new report for running other reports from a graphical user interface and numerous bugfixes and smaller improvements. The report API has received a big update. In ... [More] particular, the ability to access and run other reports from within the current report has been improved. Among other things, this enables the creation of meta-reports that aggregate existing reports. These features are also heavily used by the new GUI report. NOTE: This update breaks compatibility with existing scripts. However, the changes required to make old reports working have been kept small and are described in detail in the respective porting guide. This is a bugfix release only, fixing a file name issue reported by Merve Yüzbaşıoğlu, that could cause errors when running the program against sub-directories of Subversion ... [More] repositories. Version 0.2.1 of pepper is now available. This release focuses on the Subversion backend implementation and contains new features as well as bugfixes. The revision log for Subversion repositories is now cached locally, resulting in a noticeable ... [More] speedup for subsequent reports on remote repositories. Furthermore, a working copy can now be used for the repository URL. The bugfixes include several Subversion-related issues, including possibly missing diffstats for deleted files and problems with subdirectory handling. Version 0.2 of pepper is now available. This release brings new and improved built-in reports, an overhauled report API and a man page. The Mercurial activity extension has been ported to pepper. The commits_per_month report has been generalized and ... [More] renamed to commit_counts and a report that dumps commit data in CSV format has been added. The new man page is also available here. On the right, the latest commits from pepper's GitHub repository are shown, and the scirpting guide as well as the Gallery page have been updated. Version 0.1.5 of pepper is now available. This release adds a new report showing a histogram of file types in the repository. The command-line argument for the repository can be omitted now to use the current directory. Additionally, the cache check ... [More] is now performed by the new built-in check_cache report.
