The KDE4 version is progressing nicely, and several improvements were made to the MLT video framework which should make the next release very attractive. Sadly, I don't have enough time to work on the KDE3 version, so no progress was made on that

We are glad to announce the release of Kdenlive 0.5. Kdenlive is a non linear video editor for the KDE environnment. Since last version, many improvements and features have been added, including HDV support, copy & paste of effects & transitions, many UI fixes, improved markers, multi-clip selection,... Kdenlive is a video editing application for KDE, powered by the Piave rendering engine. 0.2.3 is a major feature update over 0.2.0, featuring dual video monitors, a multi-track timeline and clip list, in/outpoint selection and support for DV AVI's.
