Tony Ralano has created some beautiful images using models exported from Knot, combined with his excellent skills using Blender. This render looks more real to me than my photos of the 3D printed versions!

Added new options to Knot to allow the render accuracy to be configured. Longitudinal and radial accuracy can both now be set from the Preferences dialogue.View Changes

Added a couple of example files to Knot. They're knots used to create a ring and bracelent by warping them into a circle using Blender, to be printed out by Shapeways.View Changes

Knot version 0.1.2 has now been released and the packages are up on SourceForge for download. The biggest addition to this new version is the ability to save the knot images out as PNG files. Many thanks go to lylejk for suggesting the change; hopefully it'll allow people to better make use of the generated knots in 2D graphics packages.

Knot now has the ability to save out images of the knots as PNG files, with thanks to lylejk for suggesting it. The functionality hasn't exactly been heavily tested, so please bear this in mind and let me know if you hit any bugs.
